Every self-serve paid plan on each builder’s pricing page on 2026-10-13, at its monthly-billing list price in USD before tax; Enterprise plans are custom-priced and left out, as is v0’s $20 Premium plan, which v0 says is being retired and is no longer offered to new users.14 “Included AI usage” is each vendor’s own unit (credits, tokens, dollars of credit), as the vendor states it; the units differ from builder to builder and even between plans of one builder, so they are not comparable and nothing here is ranked. Yearly discounts are quoted as each pricing page words them. See how we label figures.
What you actually pay for
All five sell a monthly allowance of AI work, but each counts it differently. Lovable sells credits: one balance pays for building, chatting, hosting the app and running its built-in backend (Cloud), and the AI features inside the finished app.2 Bolt sells tokens, the small pieces of text a language model reads and writes; most of a project’s token use comes from Bolt reading and syncing the project’s files, so bigger projects use more per message.4 Replit Core includes a monthly dollar amount of credit ($20) toward its more powerful models and cloud services, plus a Free Mode allowance it states as up to 30 hours of chat.516 Base44 splits its allowance in two: message credits for talking to its AI while you build, and integration credits for the built-in services your app uses once it runs, such as sending an email or making an AI call.11 v0 converts dollars of credit into tokens at a per-model rate, from $0.20 per million input tokens on v0 Mini to $10 on v0 Max Fast.13
A credit, a token and a dollar of credit are different units, so the pricing pages give no way to tell whether $25 buys the same amount of building on two platforms. Base44 says so itself: its credit costs per action are estimates, calculated after the action runs, and can differ between workspaces.11
What happens when the allowance runs out
On Lovable, building stops behind a blocking dialog until credits are available, and an app’s built-in database, storage and login services pause shortly after the balance hits zero; the data stays safe but can’t be reached until the services run again.2 Pro workspaces can top up at $15 per 50 credits ($0.30 a credit).2
Bolt’s free plan stops at 300K tokens a day and 1M a month; on a paid plan, unused tokens roll over and stay valid for two months, and extra tokens can be bought as a “reload” on the highest monthly Pro plan or any annual Pro plan.4 On Replit, usage beyond the monthly credits is billed as you go, “once your accumulated costs exceed your monthly credits”.8 On Base44, the AI chat won’t take new messages until message credits reset or you upgrade, and when integration credits run out, the app’s actions that need them fail, showing its users a generic error.11 On v0, generation pauses until you buy more credits; unused monthly credits roll over and expire after 65 days.14
How prices moved this year
The one dated price cut on these pages is Replit’s. From August 1, 2026, Replit Cloud prices dropped on every plan: Autoscale compute went from $3.20 to $0.60 per million compute units, outbound data from $0.10 to $0.05 per GiB, and database storage from $1.50 to $0.35 per GiB a month. The cut is to Cloud usage prices, what published apps, storage and databases draw from your credits, not to the subscription prices in the table.9
Other terms are marked as temporary. Lovable’s current chat pricing and daily chat allowance apply through October 31, 2026, and its monthly Cloud, AI and connector grants are “a temporary offering and subject to change”.2 Bolt’s pricing page lists its Bolt Forge feature as included on Pro until October 14.3 v0 now gives new free users $5 of credit once, while existing free users keep a $5 monthly allowance.14 We found no dated plan-price change on Bolt’s or Base44’s own pages.
What comes with the code: hosting, database, login
For a founder, the effort side is how much of the stack each builder runs for you. Base44 lists hosting, a database and user authentication on every plan, including Free; every app goes live on a free base44.app address, and a custom domain needs the Starter plan or higher.1012 Its backend service is in beta and free to use, drawing on integration credits.17 Lovable hosts the app and runs its built-in backend (database, storage, login) out of the same credit balance, with a monthly Cloud grant of 20 credits on Free, Pro and Business, and custom domains from Pro.12
Bolt includes website hosting on Free (up to 333K web requests) and Pro (up to 1M), unlimited databases and, on Pro, a custom domain.3 Replit publishes on every plan, but Starter gets one published app that goes down after 30 days; Core lifts that to unlimited apps, billed by usage from the monthly credits, and development databases are free on every app.678 v0 deploys each project to Vercel, with a vercel.app address or a custom domain added in Vercel.15
What the units don’t tell you
The included allowances in the table are what each vendor says a plan comes with, not a measure of how many apps or features that buys. None of the five publishes a fixed cost per finished feature: Lovable bills build messages on the work they take,2 Replit prices Agent checkpoints by the effort of each request,16 and Base44 gives only rough ranges, from about half a credit for a small text change to three or four for an app-wide change.11 The figures that can be compared across builders are the plan prices, the free-tier limits as each one states them, and what each plan hosts for you.
