Loops

Loops, at loops.so, is an email platform for software companies, run by Astrodon Corporation, the company named in its terms of service.1 It went through Y Combinator's Winter 2022 batch, and its Y Combinator profile lists 2022 as its founding year and Washington, DC as its location.2 Loops announced its public launch on September 6, 2023, together with a $3.2m funding round led by Craft Ventures, describing itself as a no-code tool for SaaS email.3 For a one-person software company it handles marketing campaigns, automated lifecycle emails and transactional sends to users outside the marketing audience from one account, with no per-seat charge.4

The free plan lets a team upload unlimited contacts and send up to 4,000 emails in any rolling 30 days to its 1,000 newest contacts, counting marketing and transactional sends together, at up to 10 emails a second and with a small “Powered by Loops” footer.4 Paid plans are priced by subscribed contacts: the pricing page shows $49 a month for up to 5,000 subscribers on its Growing Audience plan, with unlimited sends, transactional email at no extra charge, no Loops branding and up to 1,000 emails a second; emails over the rate limit are queued until they can go out rather than rejected.4 Marketing and transactional email therefore share one account and one bill, with sends not charged separately on paid plans.4 Loops has no paid tier as small as 1,000, so its $49 first tier ranks 12th of 13 in OneManOnly's Cheapest Paid Email Platform at 1,000 Subscribers; How Email Platforms’ Free Tiers Changed in 2025–26 lists the same 1,000-contact, 4,000-send free plan and found no dated change to it.
